Week 32, Day 6

Breakfast: I didn't make Jason's breakfast today - I am no  longer waking at 6:30, which is a bummer since school starts Thursday and necessitates a 6:30 wake up.  I cut up some golden plums given to us by Mark Owens' parents on Saturday.  we also had oatmeal with brown sugar, milk and raisins.

Lunch:  I made Jason a lunch, though- burritos with jack cheese (we are out of the normal kind), salad with green dressing, two plums and a container of tomatoes and sour cream for his burritos.  we had baked potatoes and sour cream.  Plus sour cream and butter, of course.  We also ate the last two CSA pickling cucumbers.  Of course, we did not pickle them.

Dinner:  potato leek soup - I cleaned and added three weeks worth of CSA leeks.  It is a huge amount of soup.  We will have it for days.  We also prepared the CSA green beans - we had two weeks worth, but I had used some of them already.  We did them sauteed with garlic, smoked paprika and lemon juice.  So good!  Usually almond slivers are there, too, but Jason wasn't feeling it, I guess.  He made them - I made the soup.
