Week 35, Day 1

Breakfast: today is Cressida's birthday and she picked Coco Puffs as her birthday cereal so the girls had that for breakfast.  I had a tomato sandwich and Jason had scrambled eggs.

Lunch:  Cress and Phyllis had gringa beans and cheese in their lunch.  Dai took the last two boiled eggs.  Each girl had cucumbers and an apple.  Dai also had prunes.  Cressida had a beet.  Phyllis had carrot coins in Italian dressing.  Jason packed himself burrito stuff but ended up carpooling after he had already put his veggies and beans in his tank bag.  So he had with him only cheese and tortillas so he made quesadillas for lunch.  I had the rest of the tomato salad and a peanut butter and honey sandwich (I had made it for Cress's lunch before she decided that she wanted beans.)

After school snack: popcorn

Dinner: Pot roast with onion, potatoes and carrots.  We do more carrots than any other vegetable.

Prep ahead: I cooked two pounds of bacon in the oven for camping and cooked about a pound of black beans - also for camping.
